Very disappointed in my install. They cracked my dashboard and I've reached out about a dozen times, each time being told they call back after speaking to someone else. Not once have they called back.

Seriously disappointed in customer service, even the manager at the Clovis location snickered and thought it was funny. Ignored me, no eye contact and didn't give me an option for correcting it and kept saying the insurance company did not authorize the OEM window. When the appt was made by our insurance company they told me they would not pay for an OEM window. I called Safelite directly and spoke to a woman that had no clue… but yet she did say they could order the window and have it installed OEM. But it would cost extra, I told her I would have no issues paying for an OEM window, the car is less than a year old and I didn't want the electronics around the window affected by a generic window. She actually told me it wasn't electronic... but said she would order the OEM window for me. The day of install they put a generic window in. Excuse was the insurance didnt authorize it, excuse me, I own the car not my insurance company.

If I could give them a zero star, I would. I used Safelite because my insurance helped with the cost. First technician came out, replaced my F250 quickly and went on his merry way. Two days later, we get a rain storm and water pours into my cab. So I call for the warranty. The next technician comes out and sees that the kid broke the piece on the windshield cowl. The first technician also messed up the wiring on my review mirror AND didn’t glue the glass on correctly. My leaks were from the broken cowl and the glue issue. He replaces the windshield again and tells me to file a claim for the cowl, that it’s easy! Ha! That’s a joke. I then tried doing that. Except now I can’t get any real person on the phone.

The system says it doesn’t have any transactions under my number and kicks me out. So I set up another warranty claim to get someone out here to help. That next technician stood in my driveway and tried to get his manager on the phone. He couldn’t so he said, “I’ll give him your info and have him call you. He can get the claim filed for you”. Never heard from the manager. This time I had the 3rd technician's phone number directly. So I kept following up with him. He went unresponsive after his manager said I had to take it in to their office. I shouldn’t have to take it to the office to file a claim. I work Monday - Friday, I have kids, and the nearest one is about 45 mins from me.

So then my husband tries to leave one day, the pickup won’t start. Our entire electronics is ruined because of the water damage because of their inability to do their job correctly and make it right. I can’t get anyone on the phone still. My husband went back to the 3rd technician and he started out seeming helpful like he was with me. Now HE IS unresponsive. Told my husband that the manager would call. Still hasn’t called. So now my husband has to take a day off, lose a day's worth of wages to travel up there to get someone face to face. I will NEVER work with Safelite again. I PRAY they make this right in the end. We don’t have the means to fix all of this out of our own pocket and our pickup is paid off. We can’t afford a new one. I wish I would have just lived with the giant crack and never had it fixed in the first place.

We had a bad experience with Safelite. They knew we had a rv windshield to repair a chip in. They set appt then 2 weeks later let us know the Arlington office did not work on rvs and the Carrollton office would need to come. We had to wait for 3 weeks for appt then they called the day before appt to call to say Safelite doesn’t do rvs so after this li g we had to get someone to come within a couple days before we left in a trip. Call Auto Glass Plus! They were fantastic and came within 2 days! I will never use Safelite again and we have always used them!

I was given a written quote for a new windshield for $1031.99. I later received a text saying if I scheduled the install, I would receive a $150.00 additional discount. When a brought the discount to the attention of the staff at the counter, they called the manager. He confirmed that it was something new that Safelite just started. However, they ignored the discount offer. I made a claim with my insurance when the job was completed. Safelite, however, invoiced my insurance for $1716.80. I'm not sure why they would double the price for my insurance. I now know one of the reasons my rates have gone up 25% percent. The installation itself was very well done.

The company has reached out to me and we have reached a satisfactory settlement. I will keep everyone updated on whether or not the agreement is fulfilled. Until then I will upgrade my star rating to 3 and change it again when the settlement is completed.

I had Safelite replace a drivers side front door power window regulator on my Nissan Quest van. I had the repair done in another state. The regulator failed again after 10 1/2 months. The Safelite website says "Quote": Under our nationwide lifetime warranty, all auto glass and power window motor replacements are warrantied against defects in material or workmanship for as long as you own the vehicle on which auto glass or a power window motor was installed. In order to qualify for warranty coverage, all defects must be brought to the attention of Safelite AutoGlass within 30 days of discovery. End Quote.

The technician did come to my house and look at it and confirmed that the same part needed to be replaced again. Safelite now says that the repair is not covered under their warranty and will not repair it. I had to pay out of pocket to have it repaired again with another shop. They DO NOT stand behind their parts or labor and their warranty not worth anything.

The commercials are misleading as to how easy it is to book them. After several online tries to schedule I was told they didn't service in my area so I had to come to them. It was interesting that the nearest location was not that far from me. That appointment was also rescheduled by them as when I called they hadn't got insurance approval and insurance had no record of contact. The scheduling and customer service is a mess. Installed wasn't bad.

They confirmed the appointment the day before, had everything was good to go. At drop-off, they did not receive the windshield and cancelled the appointment. Was told “Oh well, I’m too busy” by employee.

I would give them a 0 if I could. Right before my appointment, they called and said my insurance would not cover manufacturer glass. Okay… I never requested it. The tech changed the order for some reason. So rescheduled. Second appointment, the kid arrives and says he is getting an error message for my front camera. I told him BMW gives error messages whenever anything is wrong and I was getting no message. Refused to put in new windshield. Brought to BMW to check. They said exactly what I told the kid. The car would have let me know and Safelite always says this. I ended up using a local glass company and there was no error message. And no need to even recalibrate the camera. Push for someone other than Safelite.

They came to replace my windshield and told me the suction cup released the windshield and it dropped and shattered. Told me they had to install it anyway and would repeat replace. OK--but next day saw my car in the sun and realized they scraped my hood and touched it up with the wrong color white paint (trying to hide the body damage they caused). I could not reach a manager on the phone to discuss this with me. I eventually emailed and called corporate. Was told I could not submit photos of body damage and their tech would when he came out. He did and I then heard from the manager. Told me they would get the body damaged repaired. Told them I needed a rental car. Told me he would call back with rental info-didn't.

I had to call numerous times again to reach a manager. While I had the rental I would try to call to update the manager so he could adjust the rental car as needed-always takes multiple phone calls to reach anyone (they frequently don't answer the phone at all and you can't leave a message). I now have my car back. Due to poor communication, dishonesty, damage, etc. I would not recommend this company and would never use them again.
