After you start washer it just quits unplug and wait a minute plug back in and it works for awhile and quits again
For model number MVWX655DW2
Hello Jim, thank you for writing. Your washing machine is a high efficiency model, it may stop automatically if it senses that there are too many suds in the washing machine tub. Please check the instructions to see if you are following the manufacturer's recommendations. We hope this helps.

Why is my washer failing shift actuators? I've installed two in the last month.they were cheap replacements. i just ordered one from you, hope this one last. any ideas welcome.
For model number MVWX655DW2
Hi George, thank you for reaching out. The shift actuator compatible with your model is part number PS11769864. We suggest checking the wire harness connections from the main control to the motor and shifter. After replacing the actuator, we recommend inspecting the wire harnesses, part numbers PS12349299 and PS11725952, and the main control board, part number PS16875819. If any of these parts are faulty, replace them. We hope that helps!

Lately this washer is leaving black bits on the clothes. When we put in water with a flush chemical then drain it a lot of bits come out in the laundry sink. Why is this happening? Why don't particles get discharged down the drain on each wash cycle? Evidently this washer doesn't have a filter....is this correct? Thanks.
For model number MVWX655DW2
Hi Robert, thank you for your inquiry. According to our research, your model comes with the drain pump filter, part number PS16660526. The filter may be clogged, it causes the water from the wash and rinse cycle with all the lint drains too slowly and leave deposits on your clothes. We hope that helps!

Hello, even though we use detergent and fabric softener our laundry still comes out with a smell that is hard to describe. It's not a burnt smell and we have done the washer cleaning cycle. Is there a drain plug that possibly needs to be cleaned or any other ideas? Thank You in advance.
For model number MVWX655DW2
Hello Steven, thank yo for writing. Fabric softener and detergent can build up, block filters and harbor bacteria. So, as you wash again and again, your clothes are exposed to bacteria in the water. To fix the issue, pour two cups of vinegar in your detergent drawer. Run your washer empty through the hot water cycle on the longest setting. When it’s over, use a sponge to wipe down the drum. Run the hot water cycle once more to make vinegar traces disappear. We hope this helps.

Machine worked well for 3 1/2 years. Recently began to fill extremely slowly and sometimes hang up with the drain pump running. Any idea what could be causing this and which parts I may need to fix it?
For model number MVWX655DW2
Hi John,Thank you for your question. If the washer is not working as it should, we would recommend checking the lid switch and the electronic control board. We hope this helps!

Hub had warn its grooved teeth off and washer wouldnt agitate
ordered hub and it shipped quickly. I was able to put the hub in place and screw the screws in. you want to tighten them down slowly and go around to each screw tightening a little at a time so you don't break the hub. as you tighten the screws down the hub slides down flush. its impossible to just push the hub on with your hand. Buttoned ... Read more it back up and got caught up on laundry. good day when the washer is fixed.

Noise, grinding sounds. Wash tub stopped turning but motor and cycles kept functioning. Process of elimination, must be the clutch assembly.
Easy, just followed the repair video. Recommend also ordering the drive belt. Bought one locally during my repair.

Scratches in Surface
This product comes in a bottle with a brush like Liquid Paper. It goes on incredibly easy. A second coat might be needed. I wanted to prevent rust from setting in so I covered the scratches and dings. The paint is a little brighter since my washer is 10 years old but it still looks great.
