Answers in Genesis is an apologetics (i.e., Christianity-defending) ministry dedicated to enabling Christians to defend their faith and to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ effectively. We focus particularly on providing answers to questions surrounding the book of Genesis, as it is a foundational book of Christianity and the most-attacked book of the Bible. We also desire to train others to develop a biblical worldview and seek to expose the bankruptcy of evolutionary ideas and their bedfellow: a “4.5 billion-year-old” earth (and an even older universe).
Seven Major Ways We Fulfill Our Ministry
AiG teaches that “facts” don’t speak for themselves: they must be interpreted through the lens of underlying assumptions. That is, there aren’t separate sets of “evidence” for evolution and creation—we all deal with the same evidence (we all live on the same earth, have the same fossils, observe the same animals, etc.). The difference lies in how we interpret what we study. The Bible—the “history book of the universe”—provides a reliable, eyewitness account of the beginning of all things and can be trusted to tell the truth in all areas it touches on. Therefore, we are able to use it to help us make sense of this present world. When properly understood, the “evidence” confirms the biblical account.

Our Organization
Since 1994, Answers in Genesis (AiG) has served the Christian community and a great many people have found our material to be useful, informative and reliable. We now reach millions via our Creation Museum, Ark Encounter, radio/television broadcast, speakers and website.
At AiG, we affirm the authority and reliability of the Bible. Where the Bible is clear, we confidently declare its truths. Where the Bible is silent or unclear, we don’t pretend to know more than we know or be divisive.
From its start, AiG has sought and relied on the advice of the very best scientists, historians, and theologians available in the world today - including leading scientists in the fields of biology, geology, genetics, astronomy, paleontology, and anthropology. The majority of these professionals while having no official association with AiG – have a strong desire to create excellent information and materials for the public.

Fundamentalists are almost always described as upholding beliefs in biblical infallibility and biblical inerrancy, in keeping with traditional Christian doctrines concerning biblical interpretation, the role of Jesus in the Bible, and the role of the church in society.

Christian apologetics parachurch organization. It advocates young Earth creationism on the basis of its literal, historical-grammatical interpretation of the Book of Genesis
Book of Genesis
The name Genesis is from the Latin Vulgate, in turn borrowed or transliterated from Greek Γένεσις, meaning 'origin'; Biblical Hebrew: בְּרֵאשִׁית, romanized: Bərēʾšīṯ, 'In [the] beginning'.
AIG fails to use good science because their only arguments are to use scientifically-inaccurate claims to try to disprove scientific methods. In their attempt to do this, they fail to provide any proof or evidence of their own to demonstrate the earth is only 6,000 years as they claim.
Answers in Genesis is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization. Its 501(c) designation refers to a section of the U.S. federal income tax code concerning charitable, religious, and educational organizations.
The main message of the Book of Genesis is god's creation and love of humanity. The book begins with god's creation of the heavens and of the Earth. God's dedication to humanity is seen in his placing Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. It is also seen in god creating everything on Earth for the use of men.
God blesses the humans—a key theme in this book—and gives them a garden from which they can begin their task of building the world. It is important to note that these humans have a choice as to how they are going to build this world, represented neatly in the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
The controversy stemmed from Ham's commentary on the position expressed by Peter Enns, of The BioLogos Foundation, who advocated a symbolic rather than a literal interpretation of the fall of Adam and Eve.
Most readers of Genesis, and many scholars, focus on the covenant of Genesis 15, which is about Abraham being the father of the one nation of Israel. However, the covenant of Genesis 17 is considerably more important and, subsuming the earlier covenant, extends Abraham's fatherhood to the nations.
The main message of the Book of Genesis is the creation of the universe and the Israelite people. Throughout the text, the themes of creation and covenant demonstrate the connection between the Israelites and God/Yahweh as well as the fact that humans are unrighteous and deceptive.
One of the most important themes of Genesis is God's love for humans and his involvement in our lives. God created the universe and all life, and he was pleased with his work. He gave the people the responsibility to take care of his creation.
26 Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”
Key themes include creation, sin, and recreation. While showcasing God's magnificent work, Genesis also highlights the damage caused by sin. Genesis 1-11 focuses on primeval history, while Genesis 12-50 introduces Abraham's family and God's plan for rescuing the world.
However, Genesis proves to be a more important beginning to a story than any other beginning you have ever read. You desperately need to read it. It's the beginning of God's story, but it is also the beginning of your story. The Bible isn't fiction; it's the story of reality.
He said to the woman, "Did God really say, `You must not eat from any tree in the garden'?" but God did say, `You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.
God's authorized realistic account of his creative acts employs literal representations and portrayals that entail various figures of speech. No one has the liberty to interpret any portion of Genesis 1–2, either literally or figuratively. We are obligated to read the text as written.
Scholarly writings frequently refer to Genesis as myth, for while the author of Genesis 1–11 "demythologised" his narrative by removing the Babylonian myths and those elements which did not fit with his own faith, it remains a myth in the sense of being a story of origins.
